Вишня сахалинская нередко встречается во Владивостоке и его окрестностях, включая близлежащие острова. Очень красиво цветет, хотя цветение ее очень кратковременно. Несколько дней и нет уж этого великолепия. Плоды съедобны, но, на любителя. Горьковаты.
