Spring peepers are small frogs measuring 2 to 3 cm in males and 3 to 4 cm in females.
Due to its habitat prone to low temperatures, the spring peeper is able to survive in conditions where the temperature drops as low as -8°C. His body is notably capable of freezing some of his bodily fluids.
