On Friday, 7 May 2021, at 7 pm, protesters gathered again in Republic Square, pointing out the importance of the victory over fascism and Nazism, which is celebrated throughout Europe on 9 May. In their opinion, after 80 years, Slovenia is again under the occupation of dictatorial power, fascism, carried out by Janez Janša, and the foundations of democracy, the rule of law and freedom have been violated. As a comment on the current political situation, they also carried out a mass symbolic campaign with a symbolic barbed wire.
