Much has been said about shades of meaning in the shades of humanity. But all color, after all, is only a production of the sun's unfathomable brilliance. The sun, being the source of all life on Earth, is also the source of our collective brilliance. None of us has a stronger claim on that brilliance any more than anyone has a monopoly on the sun's rays, or the colors they evoke.
