Сиенский собор-главная церковь Сиенской республики, важнейший памятник итальянской готики.Снаружи и изнутри собор отделан белым и зеленовато-черным мрамором с добавлением красного мрамора на фасаде. Черный и белый — геральдические цвета Сиены, их происхождение связано с белой и черной лошадьми основателей города,Сения и Аския.
