Цветёт родендрон жёлтый, на склоне вершины Малый Тау.
Рододендрон желтый (Rhododendron luteum Sweet), или понтийская азалия (Azalea роntica) - кустарник, вид рода Рододендрон (Rhododendron) семейства Вересковые (Ericaceae). Занесён в Красную Книгу.
