Ветром и песком неоднородные осадочные породы плато Устюрт превращены в удивительное каменное кружево, украшающее оголившиеся, а ранее подземные пещеры.
Каждое из пяти нижних отверстий имеет размер с голову ребенка.

This stone lace is a subtle and relentless work of wind and sand in the steppes of South-Western Kazakhstan, Mangistau Peninsula. Some lace patterns so strongly reminiscent of the Arabic inscriptions that scientists of Kazakhstan are still arguing about whether it is the work of Nature or of human hands.
Each of the five large holes in the bottom of the photo is the size of a baby's head.
