Коровница (Bufo bufo)

Обыкновенная жаба, или серая жаба, или коровница (Bufo bufo).
Подмосковье, начало мая, берег лесного озера. Самка жабы перед откладыванием икры. Одна самка откладывает до 600-4000 икринок. Кладка икры в виде шнуров наматывается на водную растительность, коряги и водоросли. Через несколько дней после икрометания взрослые амфибии покидают водоем.
Обыкновенная жаба считается самой крупной жабой в Европе.
