May on the Southern Plains (Май на Южных равнинах)

Taken at Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge (Texas, USA) in early May. We watched this storm throwing lightning bolts from afar, and we ultimately escaped as it moved closer. That beautiful shelf/arcus cloud only looked that defined for a few minutes! I knew I wanted to shoot the storm, but I felt I needed something else, too. Fortunately, the refuge is home to several old windmills.
