Белогубая квакша обитает в Северной Австралии и на Новой Гвинее. Она живёт поблизости от водоёмов во влажных биотопах. Квакша ведёт древесный образ жизни, однако за добычей может спускаться низко, даже к самой земле.
Это довольно крупная лягушка, достигающая 12 сантиметров в длину.
