Fer de Lance

We went on a night walk at Luna del Puente in Honduras. While photographing a white lizard, or guide find this directly behind us. This is the most poisonous snake in Central America and one bite would mean we had only an hour to get to a hospital. So we all took turns at taking a photo with our macro lenses, then quietly left him/her alone. He/She was a wonderful model and we were careful not to annoy. I'm sure that it was eyeing up the white lizard as well!!
