Etibar Jafarov , started taking up photography in 2010.From the very first days, when I was taking photos, I was thinking about a project. Later I called this project The Colors of Azerbaijan. As a traveling photographer, I traveled around Azerbaijan as much as I could, capturing its historical monuments, ancient folk traditions and all its colors in my photos. For me, this was the rediscovery of my native Azerbaijan, and I was very proud to be born in Azerbaijan at that moment. I have shot in 33 countries around the world, but I have always been in a hurry to return to my native Azerbaijan and capture its mysterious beauty. I have been doing photography for over 10 years and over the years, I have been able to illustrate almost 40 percent of Azerbaijan on camera. By writing a little information about myself I invite you to look at the photos which I took.
In 2012, at the initiative of the Azerbaijan-Europe organization, I took part in the photo contest \\\"Azerbaijan in the Lens\\\" and was awarded second place.
September 28-29, 2013 at the invitation of the House of Culture of Azerbaijan in France, I was in the top ten as a photographer at the “Festival International de Image” world cuisine photo contest.
In 2014, by order of religious organizations I was the photo coordinator of the book \\\"Pearl of Islamic Culture of Azerbaijan\\\" of religious monuments with historical architectural features in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2014, sponsored by my project and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism the book named “Images of Cultural & Natural heritage of Azerbaijan” was presented in Italy.
In 2014 I got to the finals by participating in “International Photography Award” photo contest organized by the sheikh\\\'s son The Hamdan Mohammadbin Rashid al Maktoum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and my pictures are reflected in the book dedicated to that competition.
In addition, in 2014, I received a certificate as a photo participant at the International Chefs Festival in Istanbul, where Azerbaijan National Culinary participated.
In 2019, the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles organized an exhibition entitled \\\"Colors of Azerbaijan\\\" in that city.
In 2019, The Coordinator Council of Scandinavian Azerbaijanis for Finland Cordially held \\\"Motherland Azerbaijan - Day of Azerbaijan Culture. Photo Exhibition of “The Colors of Azerbaijan by EtibarJafarov\\\".
In 2019, the exhibition \\\"Colors of Azerbaijan\\\" was organized by SAF Sweden - Azerbaijan Union in Stockholm, Switzerland.
